The TM21M planer cutterheads offer both quality and savings:

• The multiple cutters, arranged in a helicoidal fashion, divide the cutting operation between them, thereby reducing each cutter’s contact with the surface being processed. This solution provides for multiple advantages:
• The cutters are less subject to wear and the tool, therefore, enjoys a longer working life,
• Increased productivity,
• The facilitated wood shavings discharge makes the removal of the material easier and allows for more in-depth processing,
• The tool produces less noise.

Freud planer cutterheads, moreover, are manufactured from light alloy (Aluminum alloy) which gives them the advantages of both being more manageable and of requiring less machine motor power.

Although the TM21M planer cutterhead series is suitable for regular planing operations, special tools can be manufactured, based both on designs as well as on tool samples, in order to satisfy all of the customer’s needs.
